Because we manufacture our own growing media, we know exactly what goes into every mix. We carefully select the components we use, and no green waste is used in any of our products, giving growers confidence in the consistency and quality of what they’re buying.
Natural, Renewable Components
Our growing media is made from locally sourced, natural and renewable resources, including New Zealand Pinus radiata bark, a byproduct of the pine forestry industry.
This bark is aged and blended with other proven ingredients depending on the mix requirements. These may include our Daltons Pinegro Engineered Wood Fibre, coco fibre, pumice, wetting agents, fertilisers, lime, dolomite or gypsum to create reliable, high-performing mixes for a wide range of growing needs.

Blended from proven components
Depending on your requirements, we take different, quality components and blend them into a customised mix.
These can include, composted pine bark fines, coir fibre, Pinegro Wood Fibre, Daltons own pumice, Osmocote Controlled Release Fertiliser, zeolite based wetting agent, and lime, dolomite or gypsum.
