The Future of Growing Media
At Daltons, we harness cutting-edge technology and locally sourced, renewable New Zealand resources to craft premium substrates.
Pinegro, our next-generation engineered wood-fibre substrate, is crafted from New Zealand Pinus radiata wood chips – a by-product of the timber industry – and is manufactured to meet International Wood-Fibre Gold Standards.
Its fibrous texture enhances root development and water management, while its lightweight nature improves productivity, transport, and nursery management. It promotes even, uniform growth across various crop types and is pathogen and pest-free.
Pinegro is expertly blended into our mixes without the need for fruther treatment or aging.
