Garden Time Potato Fertiliser is a granular blend of slow-release and nutrient-specific fertilisers that give potatoes and kumara the nutrients they need for strong growth and a bumper crop. It promotes healthy foliage and strong root development for consistent, reliable results.

How to use

One adult handful holds approx 70g. 1 Metric cup = 300g.    

Prior to planting

Apply 75–100g per m², spreading evenly, then mix thoroughly through the existing soil.

Existing plants

Apply 100–150g per m² evenly alongside plants and water in well.

Topdressing potatoes in containers

Add 3g per litre of the container. Spread evenly around top of container or bag avoiding direct contact with foliage (leaves) and water well. 

Tips and know how

  • For a greater yield, improve soil structure by blending Daltons Garden Time™ Compost or Daltons Garden Time™ Enriched Garden Mix with existing soil prior to planting.
  • For improved plant health use Garden Time™ Seafeed Plus NPK, a natural seaweed bioconcentrate.
