Daltons Blood and Bone is a safe, easy to use, natural source of plant nutrients for use in preparing and conditioning garden beds, it is a common organic fertilizer for gardens.

Blood and Bone provides:

  • Slow release nitrogen, phosphorus, calcium and magnesium.
  • Nitrogen for steam and leaf plant growth.

How to use

Base dressing

Seedlings, vegetable & flower beds
Apply 300g per m2 to the soil, prior to planting. Mix thoroughly with the top 10cm of soil, ensuring even distribution, then water the blood and bone in to the soil once mixed.

Side dressing

Established plants & gardens
Spread evenly at a rate of 150g per m2. Rake or fork the blood and bone lightly in to soil. Water thoroughly. 
Be sure to wash any excess blood and bone off foliage.
