Daltons Ready to Grow Lime Fertiliser

Daltons Ready to Grow Lime Fertiliser is made from finely ground natural New Zealand mineral rock. Lime is a natural soil enhancer that improves pH and structure, helping create ideal growing conditions for healthy plants. It balances soil acidity, improving nutrient uptake and fertiliser effectiveness.

How to use

1 metric cup = 400g. Generally, applications in autumn or late winter are most effective. Work into soil and water well. 

Garden beds

Apply at a rate of 100-150g per m2. For new gardens, double application rates.

Lawns

Apply at a rate of 100-150g per m2. Apply annually and water in well. Not suitable as a topdress on containers. If the soil is low in organic matter, an application of Daltons Compost is recommended to enhance the soil structure.

Tips and know how

Always check the pH requirements of plants before applying. Do not apply near acid loving plants such as Azaleas, Camellias, Rhododendrons, Magnolias, Gardenias and some Australian Natives.
