When potting a seedling, liner or GOL (Growing On Lines) into a larger pot this will reduce the volume of mix available for the plant roots.

Less mix means less fertiliser. This needs to be taken into account when looking at CRF (Controlled Release Fertiliser) and other nutrient inclusion rates.

This calculator works out what the inclusion rate of CRF should be, based on your desired CRF rate per m3, taking into account the volume of mix in the new pot after deducting the seedling, liner or GOL volume.
