Highly Effective Dual-Action Wetting Agent

Hydraflo is a new generation wetting agent in granular and liquid form for better nursery, turf, and landscape results. A wetting agent, also called surfactant, increases the absorption of water into media and soil. Wetting agents achieve this by reducing the surface tension of water, allowing it to spread more easily. The main purpose of Hydraflo is to increase the absorption and spread of water, which can dramatically improve the effectiveness of irrigation applications and rainfall.

Extensive research has shown that potted nursery plants grow faster and are of higher quality when wetting agents are used. Trials in turf have shown improvements in colour and overall quality and uniformity, even with lower irrigation rates.

Hydraflo is a non-ionic wetting agent, meaning these products are soft on plant roots and provide a high level of safety on fine root hairs, even with sensitive crops.

For general nursery and greenhouse potting mixes: incorporate at the rate of 1kg per cubic metre of soil.
For propagation and plug mixes: incorporate at the rate of 0.3kg per cubic metre of soil.
For turf application: Season long at 20-25 g/m² and bi-monthly at 10-15 g/m² with 4-6 mm water.

Hydraflo L is an ideal additive to both peat and wood waste based nursery potting media, to aid in rewetting or dried mixes and drainage in waterlogged mixes.

Fairways, sports turf, lawn turf and landscapes	0.375 - 0.625 L/100m²	6 months or as required	Application through boom spray should use a minimum dilution of 1 part Hydraflo L to 200 parts water (1.0L Hydraflo L in 200L of water). Additional irrigation (3-6mm) should be applied to ensure the Hydraflo L is thoroughly watered into the soil profile.
