When is the best time to prune hydrangeas?

Can you please advise the best course of action for our wisteria? It seems to be infected with borer which we noticed after the wind blew dead branches down.

This is my first year growing zucchini plants. I have raised my plants from seed and the plants are flowering well, however the flowers are not turning to zucchinis but instead are just falling from the plant. Why is this happening and what can I do to ensure zucchinis grow?

Can you please tell me if wildflower seeds come up each year?

I am planting out my glasshouse and wondering what grows well in the glasshouse and what doesn’t. I have tried courgettes and tomatoes. Can I grow cucumbers and capsicums?

Each year I prepare the soil well when I plant my courgettes. However, the first six or so emerging courgettes go yellow at flower end and don’t grow any further. Most courgettes after this are okay. What am I doing wrong?

An area in my garden has clay soil and only receives afternoon sun from around 3pm. In summer, the sun can be so strong and in winter it may receive no direct sunshine. I’ve tried planting roses, peonies and hydrangeas but to no avail. A friend suggested I try planting cranberries. Do you think they will grow in this area? Any suggestions?

I have two white standard roses which look healthy but come in to bud and immediately turn brown. I have very few actual roses. They are planted in a north facing situation so have morning sun.
