Get ready to grow some seriously healthy and nutritious veges, herbs, and fruit with Beut Produce Mix! Straight from the garden to your belly, our mix is the real deal. Kiwi legends all over Aotearoa swear by it!
Our mix is 100% natural and weed-free, with a controlled-release fertiliser that feeds your plants for up to 4 months. That means less maintenance and more time to enjoy the fruits (and veges) of your labour. Plus, our wetting agent helps water penetrate deep into the roots, promoting healthy growth and keeping your plants happy and hydrated.
With increased organic matter, your plants will thrive and produce high yields, giving you a bountiful harvest. And if you’ve got sandy or heavy clay soils, our Produce Mix is perfect for improving soil structure and drainage.
But that’s not all! The earthworms love Beut Produce Mix too, which means improved soil health and nutrition all around. Your garden (and your belly) will thank you!

How to use
Traditional Gardens
1. Dig a suitable-sized hole for the seedling you are planting (generally twice as big as the expected size of the plant).
2. Fill the hole with Beut Produce Mix. For fruit trees and bushes planted in the garden, you should dig a hole that takes at least 10 litres of mix.
3. Plant directly into the mix.
Raised Beds
1. Loosen the soil below the bed to a spade depth.
2. Mix in Beut Produce Mix to form a healthy, aerated base for roots to extend into.
3. Top up with Beut Produce Mix to a depth of 20-30cm.
4. Compact lightly by hand before planting and water to see what level the mix settles at before adding more.
Containers or Planter Boxes
1. If possible, add a 2-3cm layer of coarse drainage material such as Daltons Scoria to the bottom of
the container.
2. Fill the rest of the container with Beut Produce Mix.
3. For improved long-term growth, add Garden Pellets when planting.
Maintenance
1. Regularly check the moisture level of the soil in your garden bed or container. Stick your finger into the soil up to the second knuckle to see if it’s dry or moist.
2. Water your plants when the soil is dry to the touch. Be sure to water deeply, so the roots get enough moisture.
3. To encourage healthy growth, feed your plants with the Beut Fert range.
4. Enjoy the fruits of your labour! Harvest your produce when it’s ripe and ready to eat, and don’t forget to share with friends and family.
