We’ve incorporated a controlled-release fertiliser into our Potting Mix that nourishes your plants for up to 10 months. As the mix temperature and moisture content change, the fertiliser responds by releasing nutrients, ensuring your plants receive consistent nourishment.

Instructions
Ensuring your plants thrive and flourish generally requires repotting annually. Repotting allows plant roots to develop as the plant grows and provides new nutrients from the potting mix to stimulate new growth. If you’re potting a new plant, remember to read the plant label and adhere to any specific plant requirements.
Repotting and Feeding Container Plants
- Before potting or repotting, ensure the plant is thoroughly moist.
- Trim any damaged or tangled roots, loosen the root ball, and remove the top 1cm of old mix to eliminate weeds.
- Fill a clean, free-draining container partially with Beut Potting Mix.
- Place the plant in the container, adjusting the mix under the plant until it’s at the desired height.
- Fill the rest of the container up to approximately 2cm from the top, gently tapping to ensure mix distribution.
- Water the plant and allow it to drain. Leave it in a shaded spot for 2-3 days to establish.
- Remember, overwatering is a common problem for indoor plants. Water regularly but be careful not to overwater.
- Each spring, replace at least one-third of the volume of potting mix with fresh material for optimal growth. For an extra boost after the 10-month period, use a quality controlled-release fertiliser.
- For sensitive or specialised plants, consider using a specialised mix to achieve the best results.
