Choc Chip Cookies
Whip these chewy choc chip cookies up with the kids in the school holidays. Quick, easy, and delicious!

Ingredients
- 2 cups plain flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 170g butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup caster sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 large egg
- 1 ¼ cups choc chips
Makes approx. 32 cookies
Method
- In a large bowl combine flour, salt, and baking soda.
- In a medium bowl, mix melted butter with brown sugar and caster sugar using a whisk then beat in the vanilla and egg and mix until combined.
- Add the wet mixture to the bowl with dry ingredients, mixing it with a wooden spoon to form a dough. Add choc chips and mix through the dough.
- Refrigerate dough for approx. 30 minutes.
- While dough is chilling, pre heat oven to 170 deg.
- Line two baking trays with baking paper and roll heaped tablespoon amounts of dough into balls and place on trays. Approx 16 balls per tray.
- Bake each tray for 14-15 mins or until golden.
- Allow cookies to cool. Enjoy!
