Unfortunately, from looking at the photo you submitted it is clear that your passionfruit is either dead or in the process of dying.

Passionfruit can be a very frustrating plant to cultivate in the home garden. For instance, if you plant three specimens, one will thrive, one will struggle and the other will die – regardless of the position in which they are planted!

The good news is that when they do thrive, they grow incredibly fast and produce bucket loads of passionfruit. To maximise your chances of success, always plant more than one passionfruit vine and replant every two to three years.

While grown successfully in a range of soil types, always add Garden Time Compost to the existing soil before planting. Passionfruit will grow happily in full sun or half-day sun positions. Their water requirements are not huge, although they should not be allowed to dry out during the hot, dry summer months. Remember, passionfruit vines at best only last 4 -5 years. To prolong their lives, prune at the end of winter as fruit are only produced on new seasons growth.
