Cheese and Parsley Scones

Makes 6 scones
Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- pinch cayenne pepper
- 2 cups grated tasty cheese
- 1 cup milk
Method:
- Preheat oven to 220ºC. Leave the tray in the oven to heat.
- Add flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, parsley, and cayenne pepper into a bowl. Mix in cheese. Make a well in the centre.
- Pour in the milk and mix quickly with a knife.
- Turn out onto a lightly floured bench and quickly shape into a 3 cm thick rectangle.
- Cut the rectangle into thirds and then diagonally slice each third so you end up with 6 triangles.
- Place on a hot tray.
- Bake for approx. 15 minutes.
