Daltons Coarse Pumice
A washed, screened and graded Pumice produced as a by-product of sand processing onsite in Matamata. This product is predominantly used in potting mixes, to open the mix up and achieve a desirable air filled porosity and provide good drainage.
Can be used as a cutting growing media, an input into growing media, as a hypertufa ingredient, and for decorative applications. Used extensively in the nursery industry as a growing media input and propagation medium. Also suitable to use in BBQ drip trays, popular as a pathway aggregate and as a decorative aggregate for gardens and pot tops. It is a great soil additive, improving drainage for moisture sensitive plants.
