Peach & Apricot BBQ Glaze
Sweet, sticky and brilliant on the grill. This glaze is ideal for chicken, pork, sausages, tofu or veg skewers, and is a great way to use up ripe stone fruit.

Ingredients (Makes 2 cups)
- 750 g peaches and/or apricots, stones removed, chopped
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup tomato sauce or passata
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp chilli flakes (optional)
- Salt & cracked pepper, to taste
Method
- Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Cook 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fruit breaks down and mixture thickens.
- Blend until smooth (optional but gives a classic glaze texture).
- Return to heat and simmer another 5–10 minutes until glossy and spoon-thick.
- Spoon hot into clean jars or freeze portions.
How to Use It
- Brush onto meat or veg during the last 5–10 minutes of grilling
- Use as a marinade (thin with a little oil)
- Serve as a dipping sauce
- Toss through roasted vegetables

- Fridge: up to 3 weeks
- Freezer: up to 6 months
