I have a shady spot behind my house - what shade-loving things can I plant there?

Depending on how shady this area of your garden is as it will determine exactly what plants will thrive or struggle. Many plants grow exceptionally well in what can be termed 'light’ shade, while there are specific plants that will tolerate very heavy shade. Below are some hardy plants that should be successful in your shady position.

Ground Covers
