Daltons are looking for a Warehouse Team Member to join our Christchurch Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in a job well done and wants to work alongside a friendly supportive team.
You don’t need to have experience is every part of the role – full training will be provided to the right person. What matters most to us is your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
What you will be doing
- Operating automated packaging and processing equipment
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Driving a forklift – loading and unloading trucks
- Coordinating machine changeovers and ensuring packaging materials are ready when needed
- General warehouse duties
- Working safely and keeping the warehouse and work areas clean and organised
- Helping ensure our customers receive their orders on time and in great condition
What we are looking for

- Experience in a Warehouse and dispatch environment is an advantage for not essential.

Warehouse Staff Member - Fixed Term - Matamata
September 2026 – March 2027

We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable people to join our Warehouse Operations Team for our busy Spring/Summer season.
Based in Matamata, Waikato you will be perfectly placed to experience some of the best of the North Island. On your days off you are within easy reach of beaches, native bush, hiking and cycling trails, mountains, waterfalls and Hobbiton. It is a great base if you want to work, save money and make the most of your time travelling around NZ.
What you will be doing
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
- Processing inwards goods
- Operating automated machinery
- Manually packing our smaller fertiliser products, including liquids and tablets
- Assisting with general warehouse duties across the operation as required
What are we looking for?
You don’t need years of warehouse experience – a great attitude and willingness to work hard are what matters most.

Heavy Diesel Mechanics - Matamata
Multiple Positions Available
Daltons are looking for Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our dedicated workshop team in Matamata.
If you enjoy hands-on mechanic work, take pride in keeping vehicles and equipment in top condition and like being part of a supportive, practical team, we would love to hear from you.
About the Role
Our workshop looks after a diverse fleet, including trucks and trailers, loaders, forklifts, diggers and light road vehicles. These roles will involve a mix of preventative servicing, repairs, fault diagnosis and general fleet maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing all vehicles
- Maintain and repair trucks and trailers to COF standards
- Prepare vehicles for WOF inspections
- Carry out repairs including brake relines, general maintenance and basic electrical fixes.
- Quickly diagnose faults and apply effective solutions
- Maintain accurate service & maintenance records
- Work safely and follow all health and safety procedures
- Support your teammates and work collaboratively
- Understand the urgency of the transport industry and minimise vehicle downtime
What you need for this Role:
- A relevant mechanical qualification and proven experience in a similar role
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude
- A solid work ethic and ability to work well within a team
Hours:
Monday – Friday 6.00 am – 5 pm
Some Saturday hours are required for these roles, with the exact arrangement depending on the position. We offer flexibility around the remaining working days where possible to support a good work-life balance.

Class 2 Delivery Driver and Yard Assistant - Mount Wellington, Auckland
Daltons Landscape Supplies are looking for a reliable and customer focused Class 2 Delivery Driver and Yard Person to join our Mount Wellington Landscape Supplies Team.
This is a hands on role where no two days are the same. You will be delivering landscaping and growing media products to our customers, helping load vehicles, assisting customers in the yard and keeping the site running smoothly.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver customer orders safety, accurately and on time.
- Load customer vehicles and delivery trucks.
- Assist customers in the yard with their product selections.
- Operate trucks and yard equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
- Help keep the yard clean, organised and running efficiently.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
Hours:
Generally 7.00 am – 5.00 pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work and additional hours during our busy seasonal periods.
What we are looking for:
- A Current Class 2 licence or higher
- Previous delivery experience
- A strong commitment to health and safety.
