I have two very healthy Winchester Honeysuckle and they have been through two spring seasons without any fruit, flowers, or colour change in leaves. They are planted in partial shade with morning sun and there is also a large cherry plum tree above the area. What is causing the lack of expected seasonal changes?

It is hard to envisage a honeysuckle plant not growing rampantly. The position where it is growing i.e. in the partial shade, could be the main reason why the plant has not displayed seasonal colouring and has not flowered significantly yet.

Please be patient as the honeysuckle will continue to grow and no doubt as it reaches sunnier positions, flowering will commence and colouration of the foliage will start. You could try pruning back the large cherry tree to enable more sunlight to reach the honeysuckle plants.
